Books about cryptoanarchy and related topics

Hello cypherpunks,

We know the importance of knowledge in our fight for digital freedom and autonomy. This thread is dedicated to compiling a recommended reading list of essential books covering our topics like cryptoanarchy, encryption, decentralized systems, privacy, and more.

I’ve kicked things off with a few initial titles, but this is just a starting point. I please you to share your own book recommendations in the replies. Let’s build a resource that can help us all navigate the complexities of our world.

Check out the first selections on paralelnipolis.info/books, and contribute your suggestions in this topic. Knowledge is power.

Hey there!

There are some great book recommendations here already.
I’m gonna chime in with some of mine:

Cypherpunks: Freedom and the Future of the Internet

A book written by Julian Assange, this work is a collection of discussions between him and Jacob Applebaum, Andy Müller-Maguhn, and Jérémie Zimmermann. These conversations took place while Assange was under house arrest in the UK in 2012.

Second Realm: Book on Strategy

A short book written by Smuggler and XYZ. On its pages, they expand on Hakim Bay’s ideas of TAZs (temporary autonomous zones). They not only discuss the philosophy and technology behind TAZs, but they also offer practical strategies for creating those autonomous zones in the real world. It’s definitely worth the read.
